TRUST IN WORKPLACE

All people who has faced issues on Trust in workplace get a question....can we really trust anyone at workplace? No we can't trust anyone blindly. We need to really really know the person before trusting them blindly.

How can we get trust?
By being transparent, honest and direct. By having trust and gaining trust we can focus more on the problem and our job rather trying to answer the bureaucracy around.

But still we have people trying to pull us back:
We need to try to maintain a professional or transactional level of relationship hoping people will try to understand you. Though it pains hopefully it will end one day. Again we will be hurt but need to tend to forget and forgive as we need to see the same people day in and day out. But we need to watchful of further harming. Don't keep it to yourself, share it with your friend around so that heart becomes little lighter and to get a confirmation that you are not at fault to your conscience as you are answerable to that and should not be clouded by your perception.

How can we regain the trust back?
Doing the right thing for the business consistently still in such environment should get the lost trust back. As long as your conscious says what you did is right and are able to admit to any shortcomings you have done, should give some peace of mind, while you can only become the same person only if you have trust of the people who you trust most.

It is by building trust that organizations can get high performing teams

The above all holds to higher ups and peers...

Coming to our employees.....we need to trust our employees fully and give them full freedom. They will do more than you expect in such scenarios. Just have a constant check to ensure they are not stuck anywhere and might need some help.

If you ask me...trust is it easier upwards and downwards? My answer would be downwards. So need to work on the other side for me to happy all sides....
